H28 Rebuild

Closeups
One very badly rusted iron keel Propping up the bow so we could drive the keelbolts out. Port side of the deck next to the cabin. The starboard side is even worse. Virtually all the keelbolts in the bow were rusted completely through. Another example of a keel bolt.

Frame #3. The starboard side is rotted due to rainwater that came inside. This is the equally rotted floor timber (#3). Its keelbolt was not holding anything, either. Floor #5 with its rotted bolt. Part of the cockpit.
